Overview
There are around 30 spacious rooms apart from science laboratory, reading room and library. State of art computer lab, sports room, visitors’ sitting room and big corridors for easy movement of the students and separate platform is provided in the mezzanine floor for indoor games and activities. The building includes a well equipped office room and last but not the least, a spacious store for annual goods (stationery) to be stored is also provided.
The spacious building also houses a compact auditorium cum conference hall, completely equipped with latest audio-visual system and close-circuit television. “Public address system” is also installed in the building for effective monitoring of the activities inside.
With all these facilities, the beautiful building stands elegantly with its emblem – a fairy waving her magic wand, attracting some more fairies to join her.
1. Infrastructure
The institution is situated in the heart of the south of Bangalore with a spacious stadium in front of the building – an ideal land mark! It has its own spacious premises in a sophisticated, state-of-art building with 20,000 sq. ft. built up area. It has been provided with the facilities like pure and hygienic drinking water – blue star water purifier and cooler in each floor, toilets with modern amenities, hygienically maintained. Large, spacious, well lit and ventilated class rooms with most modern boards and teaching aids, furniture, etc.
2. Clubs and Organizations
Art, Science and Literary club caters to the scientific aptitude and intellectual development and train the students to cultural activities like debate, quiz and elocution, pick and speak etc. They are encouraged to participate in inter school activities..
Children will receive all round encouragement both in the class and on the field and also to participate in the inter mural and extra mural activities of the school during the scholastic year.
3. Yoga
Yoga an ancient science of keeping body, mind and soul healthy developed and practiced in India is a treasure to be passed on to future generations.
We at HOLY CHILD offer unique program combining Yoga and Mindful practice for children in their curriculum to overcome pressure and achieve the heights of excellence to the best of their capabilities. 5. Library
The library services form an integral part of our vision of quality education. The library is well stocked with books covering all spheres of subjects. There are books on different languages, science, autobiographies, encyclopaedia’s, dictionaries, fiction, reference books, journals, etc. The students have compulsory library period every week and are encouraged and trained to make effective use of it.
6. Transportation
The school Transport System has paved the way for greater connectivity by being.
Our transport fleet consists of over 7 vehicles. They traverse the geography of the city to pick up our students. Special care is taken while appointing the drivers, to ensure that only the experienced and qualified drivers are appointed after undergoing a driving test. The buses are equipped with safety equipment and a first-aid kit in case of an emergency.
Being GPS enabled, the school can locate the position of a bus at any time during the commute. To avoid rash driving and speeding, speed governors are installed in all the buses.
7. ERP
learning, a system where students, staff, timetables, examinations, admissions, fees, reporting, and other information are all easily accessible through an online portal.
